MULTI-YEAR ACCESSIBILITY PLAN

Statement of Commitment
Tyne Engineering Inc. is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and equality of opportunity and are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner.
Tyne Engineering Inc. is committed to meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR), and to continually improving accessibility through the identification, removal, and prevention of barriers for people with disabilities.
This Multi-Year Accessibility Plan outlines the organization’s strategy to prevent and remove barriers and to meet its accessibility requirements under the AODA.
Accessibility Plan Duration
This plan covers a three-year period from 2026 to 2028.
Tyne Engineering Inc. will review and update this plan at least once every five years and will report on progress annually.
General Accessibility Initiatives
Tyne Engineering Inc. is committed to:
- reviewing and updating its accessibility policies as required;
- providing accessibility training to employees and other required persons;
- responding to accessibility feedback in a timely manner; and
- incorporating accessibility considerations into organizational practices and decision-making.
Training
Commitment
Tyne Engineering Inc. will ensure that all employees and other persons required under the AODA receive training on:
- the requirements of the accessibility standards; and
- the Ontario Human Rights Code as it relates to people with disabilities.
Actions
- Provide accessibility training as soon as practicable after hiring.
- Provide refresher training when policies change.
- Maintain training records, including dates and participants.

Information and Communications
Commitment
Tyne Engineering Inc. will ensure that information and communications are accessible to people with disabilities upon request.
Actions
- Provide accessible formats and communication supports upon request.
- Consult with individuals to determine suitable accessible formats or communication supports.
- Provide information in a timely manner and at no additional cost.

Employment
Commitment
Tyne Engineering Inc. is committed to fair and accessible employment practices.
Actions
- Notify job applicants that accommodations are available during recruitment and selection.
- Consult with applicants and employees to provide suitable accommodations.

- Provide individualized workplace emergency response information where required.
- Maintain a written process for individual accommodation plans.

Customer Service
Commitment
Tyne Engineering Inc. is committed to providing accessible customer service to people with disabilities.
Actions
- Allow the use of assistive devices, service animals, and support persons.

- Respond to accessibility feedback in a timely manner.

Design of Public Spaces
Tyne Engineering Inc. will meet accessibility requirements for the design of public spaces, where applicable, in accordance with the AODA and IASR.

Feedback and Monitoring
Tyne Engineering Inc. welcomes feedback on accessibility and will use feedback to identify and address barriers.
Feedback may be provided through the organization’s accessible feedback process, and responses will be provided in a timely manner.
Progress on accessibility initiatives will be monitored and documented as part of ongoing compliance efforts.

This Multi-Year Accessibility Plan is publicly available. Accessible formats are available upon request.
